What is Project NEER?
Water, the gift from eternity till posterity, the most valuable natural resource has been exploited to a level where many people do not have access to potable water.
Human intervention has reached a point when inexhaustible resources are on the verge of exhaustion.
GRIDS as a family, ensures that each and every drop falling from heaven is saved for people in future don't need to crave.
Project Neer is an initiative by GRIDS whereby we promote rainwater harvesting to contribute an ounce for the sake of our planet.
How do we work?
We work by collaborating with the builders to get cost-efficient and easy to use rainwater harvesting plants into each and every apartment, from where the residents could use it for their daily chores.
How do we help?
Rainwater harvesting helps utilities reduce peak demands during summer months, saving treated water for more important and appropriate water uses. While rainwater can be a perfect primary water source for many uses and situations, it is also a great backup water supply for emergency situations. Just one plant would save approximately 9,18,500 litres of water per year.
